Okay, I know I had not been posting since the day I left for Korea.

I just couldn't access Blogger from my com.

WHHHHHHY???

I'm now using my mum's com~

Anw, so I'm back from Korea.

Free and easy is so much more fun than going with packaged tours.

We had so much fun @museums and memorial halls.

HAHAHA.

My bro apparently loves museums!

But because the weather is extremely cold, so my aunt and mum often suggested to go back to our hotel as early as 6pm.

It really spoilt the day you know.

I was initially terribly (wad an understatement) upset with this, but nonetheless, on the whole, the trip was still great.

We did many things Koreans do and tourists wouldn't.

I really felt like I had lived like a typical Korean for that 7 days.

&it also made me appreciate home.

When I was there, I must constantly be on look out for the bus/subway stop dat we need to alight.

We had to find our way to every place and think bout how to ask for directions.

Basically, everything seemed so foreign dat you couldn't help but appreciate our home.

More importantly, th constant pushing and shoving @public places really put me off. I expected more civilized behaviors, really.

Of course, it was still a wonderful experience to venture out like this and I definitely would want to do it again~

Omg, okay, I'm really lazy to type.

Omg, Im back to the days where I cant access blogger using my own com -_-

Anw, my life had been pretty boring recently so I better off not posting.

LOL.

Job had been alot easier now.

I guess it just takes time to get used to all the processes/rules blah.

The branch manager told me she will put me IC of printing when I get back from Korea and I can print &ask others to staple for me.

HAHA.

Currently, Im either printing or stapling or both.

Actually I dun mind doing both.

I thnk I will just do all by myself.

Waste thousands of paper per day and just grumble to the papers and expecting random paper cut(s)~~

But at least printing &stapling worksheets are more fun than checking attendance or filing registration and/or withdrawal forms.

BTW LET ME TELL YOU A GOOD NEWS.

IM LEAVING FOR KOREA ON 2 JAN AND WILL BE BACK BY 9 JAN!!!!!

Okay, I think Im honestly mad, esp after today's work.

Today had been so hectic.

There were payments after payments, answering countless phone calls (most on asking if we are open today. LOL) and printing all sorts of worksheets for students who were absent.

But I felt so accomplished!

HAHA.

Actually I kind of feel like going out to countdown (dat tiny little 1% of desire~).

My colleagues are all going to a colleague's house to countdown but the thought of my unfinished planning and the idea of travelling home in the middle of night just reduce my enthusiasm to -100% -_-

Two years ago, I countdown with Cold Storage frens @Orchard Central.

One year ago, it was more exciting: I countdown-ed with OBT team @Taiwan in a small hut behind our base camp!

This year, I will be just planning for my Korea trip instead.

But I dun mind! Hahahaha.

Okay, I shall get back to planning :D

Oh yeah.. I wanna share a song.

I really like this song cos it has a really sad melody dat suits the lyrics of the song but yet not those melodramatic-typical-kdrama-ost-song.

I even cried watching the video.

Kyuhyun sang really well but most of the time, my eyes were looking @ the eng sub instead.

Must really look @the eng sub!!!

You can really feel something after listening to the song.

&then I had a weird dream involving my dad (Having weird dreams had alr became a norm for me. I had been having really weird dreams before A levels even started. My mum apparently think there is a problem with me. Hmmm, I think so too..) and in the dream, I cried for 2 seconds then I opened my eyes.

I started to tear uncontrollably next.

Tears literally flowed out itself.

It had been long since I last posted.

The blogger page could not be opened using my laptop.

Anw, A levels had finally ended, fullstop.

Lol.

&I had gotten myself a job @ some tuition centre.

Okay, I think Im going to complain about the job...

I think Im not happy working there.

Dat job is not something I want.

Most of the time, Im just doing admin stuff like stapling&printing worksheets, checking attendance, answering phone calls,filing blah...

I also handle tuition fee payment for parents and dat is like the only task dat falls under "interaction".

If not, Im just interacting with non-living things.

I dun wan dat.

I mean, I thought I would be fine with it since the pay had been really good.

Okay, it is a single digit hourly pay, but it is still a good one, really.

But now I dun think Im "fine with it" anymore.

Okay, I think it is my own problem.

I know Im the most junior there but sometimes I really think tone of the other staff could be better.

I mean, they could rephrase sentences like "How could you not know. You should know how to read the printing sheet" when 1 second ago I told her idk cos i dun hv the printing sheet (implying dat I can actually read the sheet and hence answer her question if I do have the sheet), "You get wad am I trying to say?" blah..

I really think it is the tone dat mattered.

But again, I think it is my problem.

Im the least experienced there so it may not be wrong if they sound like they are reprimanding me, but...

Im really particular about manners (Dun puke. Sometimes I may not be very polite to you, but dat is because we knew each other well alr. LOL. Otherwise, I will make an effort to ensure my tone sounds right/formal enough/polite.) and their tone really... disturbed (not exactly a suitable word tho) me?

The thing dat disturbed me the most today was a hand gesture by someone.

Not middle finger tho. LOL.

She may not think too much about it, but I think it is rude.

Aiya, okay.

&I feel kind of stressed working there.

Like when Im handling payment, Im worried dat I had forgotten to add a discount (some internal stuff); when Im printing worksheets, Im worried dat I had printed the wrong thing; even when Im answering phone calls, Im worried dat I had said the wrong thing.

Okay, &now, Im finally @the main point.

If Im working @Cold Storage instead of the centre now, I wouldnt hv thought of quitting if I encounter the above-mentioned "events" because the bulk of the job involes interacting with th customers which I really like and so I could bear with it.

I will still look forward to working.

I may still grumble as I walk towards the counter, but once there are customers, I will really feel energised to work.

But @the tuition centre, I will just feel sian all the way.

When I encounter the above-mentioned "events:, I will feel like quitting cos anw, wadever Im doing now isnt wad I enjoy.

So ultimately, pay is really not as important as interest.

If not for the fact dat my CS job involves quality check (aka interaction with non-living products), I think I would really go back CS and work, despite the low pay.

Lol.

But again, I think the manners issue is kind of my problem?

To you, you may not think too much about it, but to me, Im really particular about it.

&it was further worsened by the fact dat my current job is not something I like.

Sigh, okay.

Im done with ranting.

自去年，我每天都在期待毕业的那一天

讲毕业后要找工作

要看XXX韩剧

随着大考将近，我就期待study break开始的那一天

这一天，终于到了

不禁有“好像一切即将结束”的感觉

而我也将从做了两年的梦醒来

觉得开心，因为是一种解脱

但也有一种莫名的感觉，也许我还是对这两年接触到的事物有所眷恋

哪怕只是那么一点

这就好比去年我去土耳其坐了12小时的车前往下一个城市时，虽间中我不断念经，但到了目的地却开始想念着沿途看到的风景~

也许这两种体验是相似的

OMGGGG i can finally access blogger!

uh, im supposed to be mugging for prelims now, but okay, i need a break -_-

anw, when i was in the toilet just now, i saw this ant trying to pull a strand of hair.

at dat moment, i thought it was inspiring, like how a mere ant was trying to drag something dat is of many times its weight.

even its buddy (some other ant) just crawled away after giving his good fren a glance.

INSPIRING RIGHTTTT, esp in tough times like this.

so after i was done with my business, i went back to my room to take my phone, hoping to take a photo of that inspiring moment.

sounds really dumb, i know, but i thought it was... erm, a rather interesting sight.

why would an ant want a strand of hair right...

but who knows when i got back, the ant gave up.

it ended up crawling around the hair aimlessly.

HELLO people.

mugging sucks.

omg, im dying of mugging, seriously -_-

but i have found a new source of motivation!

uh, okay, im recently in love with BEAST aka B2st's songs.

previously, while i kind of like MYSTERY and SHOCK but i hardly notice BEAST.

but with the release of the title track FICTION and ON RAINY DAY, it is seriously hard not to notice them and their music.

i like their music.

i got tired of SM's style of music (think SuJu, SNSD, SHINee, f(x) blah. im proud to say DBSK is an exception :D).

their music is so SM-ish, those dat upon the first time you hear it, you can more or less guess it is from SM.

i like the fact that they are taking charge of the songs they sing.

from their interviews, it is apparent that they are not singing just because they wanna be idol, they are singing cos they really like music.

i have read interviews of many kpop groups and not many shown much interest in taking charge of the songs they sing,really.

Beast is an exception.

i like the fact that they are making an effort to ensure that there is equal distribution of singing parts among the members.

there was recently this thing bout "3seconds singer" where some members of a group only get to sing 3 seconds (solo parts) for the whole song.

Beast is trying hard to break free of this by having a more equal distribution.

i like dat cos it is abit irritating to see dat, for example, many members of SuJu dun actually get to sing much.

while im not a fan of eunhyuk/shindong, but i do feel sad for them for having so little solo parts.

watch ITS YOU and you'll get it.

talking about FACT AND FICTION, okay, it is a decent album.

i mean, all of their previous singles are so catchy so naturally we would have expected their album to be of the same style.

hmmm, not exactly.

other than FICTION, THE FACT and ON RAINY DAYS, th others songs are pretty average.

but average does not mean they suck.

you cant probably expect th whole album to be filled with songs like FICTION right, you will die of high-ness by the end of th album. -_-

but overall, i still like the album.

whenever i got irritated by the DJ's endless talking on air (seriously, cant they talk abit lesser since it is alr at night?!), i will just switch on to their album.

some songs get you high (make you awake when you feel like sleeping while mugging -_-), some songs songs get you moving (FICTION!!), some songs get you abit emo (LOL)...

okay, moral of the story, check out FACT AND FICTIONNNNNN. :D (i can lend you if you wan. HAHA)

the june camp was great!

honestly, i really enjoyed myself.

it was so different from last year.

after dat was a chalet and sleepover at charmain's house!!!

th chalet was abit sian, tho i had a great time talking to the j1 and j2 girls.

the sleepover was greattttttttttttttt.

we just talked for the whole night and had a good laugh at many things, esp the ___________ perf by my group.

okay, i didnt perform dat, but omg the perf was damnnnnnn funnyyyyyy.

at one period of time, charmain's itunes was playing some instrumental by some japanese group and i commented dat it was boring.

shortly after dat, i started yawning (not on purpose).

then she suddenly jumped up fr her bed and play WONDERFUL instead.

HAHAHAHA.

cos i once told her dat i used to play WONDERFUL when i feel sleepy while mugging so as to stay awake.

今天我经历了两次的离别。

as mentioned before, today is the closing day of my dad's shop.

but actually... if we think of the bright side, this day will still come eventually.

it is just a matter of when.

but of course, im not the one who gave in all my heart/blood/tears to the shop for 16 years, so there is no way i could understand the sadness/pain of seeing it gone for good.

nonetheless, im still elated to see dat my dad can finally take a breakkkk!

for the past 16 years, he had worked so hard for the shop without taking a break.

the last time he went overseas with us was 6 years ago T.T

so yup, guess we just have to move on...

"things happened for a reason."

&today is our last taekwondo training.

it was just like any other training, or worse.

LOL.

cos to our horror, we had to learn 5 sparring sets for our grading tmw.

o.O

i wish i can still remember these 5 sets tmw.

anw, so yeah, at the end of th training, the comm members went up to give a "farewell speech".

i didnt feel very sad/have the urge to cry.

i mean, while im pretty happy dat training had ended officially, but i will really really still miss eveyone in tkd.

tkd members are really great.

like wad jianzhi said, the bond btw th j1s and j2s is something dat we didnt see it in our j1 year.

in fact, "our seniors didnt treat us very well" in our j1 year.

okay, not like they torture us or something, but there is definitely no bond btw us and the j2s then.

&then juniors like yoshika and felicia came up to me and said things like "i will miss/remember you"/start hugging you.

dat is really when i felt like it is some 离别.

the sec3 NH summer camp feeling all over again. lol.

i had never see it as 离别 cos i believe dat we can still see each other in school, tho not as often.

but yeah, they are right too: tkd is the best time for us to bond and now, with the end of tkd training for us, there will be less chance for us to interact with them.

but yeah... the same thing, life goes on yeah!

&i strongly believe dat the bond btw the j1s and j2s will not break just lidat!

lol, had not been updating.
anw, there isnt much to talk bout except one.

27, or rather 28 may will be a big day at home.
nah, it is not for something good.
my dad's shop is going to close down on 27th may cos the damned SXXX is going to collect the shop back to renovate and rent them out at a much higher price.

isnt dat mean?! i mean like, for the past 16 years, they had been renting out dat space at some exorbitant price but my dad still accepted it and continue renting, and now, they are greedy and wanted to rent the space at a much higher rent after some "renovation".

actually to be very honest, i didnt think much bout the shop being closed down.

altho my dad said the other shop does not earn as much as this shop does and thus was unable to support the whole family just by dat shop, i wasnt exactly worried cos my dad said he was alr seeking out for new place to rent again.

but recently, as he talked bout the shop, his eyes were red.

"不看还好，一看很心痛的你懂吗"

&today when i went to the shop, his eyes were red once again.

probably at dat moment, it was coincidental dat his eyes were itchy, dats why it was red, i have no idea.

but only then did it dawned onto me dat how upset my dad was towards the closing of th shop.

only then did i realised dat probably the closing of th shop would mean a part of him is gone for good.

everytime when we watched drama and they talked about "一生的心血"， i have never quite understood it.

but now, i do cos in 2 days' time, my dad's "一生的心血" will be gone.

16 years may not be long, but it is definitely not short.

even for me and my bro, the shop still plays a big part in our childhood lives.

when we were young, my dad would bring my bro and I to the shop every saturday and sunday.

we would then stay till the shop closes on sat/ go home early with our mum on sunday.

however, as we grown up and workload increased, we did not visit the shop as frequent as before.

nonetheless, the shop is still akin to our second home.

before me and my bro had handphones and when public phones are still in use (LOL), we only need to remember 5 numbers.

our parents' handphone numbers, 2 of our house numbers and lastly, the shop's number.

but in 2 days' time, the last number will no longer be used...

actually i thnk the only reason why i felt sad towards the closing of shop was because how upset my dad was.

he said he had found a new job as a deliveryman, but i wonder how long he will take to get over this.

afterall...

he had spent 16 years on this shop.

he built everything from scratch.

he faced 2 business failures (2 subsequent shops closed down due to poor business or something).

but despite so, he stayed strong and for this, im so so so proud of him.

so! we had this farewell dinner for him @ some ulu restaurant which we nearly died looking for it.

the sms said the place is @ lorong 8, so we took bus to lorong 8 but dat area is apparently an industrial area -_-

so felix went to ask the policeman at the police station where is the restaurant.

he told us it is actually @ TPY central o.O

so we went back TYP central.

but some other cjc people said it is indeed in lorong 8.

so we went back lorong 8 again.

felix said he wanted to go "ask the policeman "wads up dude"".

okay, he didnt said dat, he just told the policeman dat he gave us the wrong info and ask for directions to blk 210.

@ the police station...

felix: "but it is not at the central. they told me its here."

policeman A: "i was there last weekend"

LOLLLL. i nearly died laughing.

anw, after 1 hour of frantic searching, we finally found it~

there were 5 tables of us and yonghwee was like the groom in a wedding dinner, going around to entertain us.

good host yeah!

yonghwee is one of the nicest person i had met and this is really reflected in his popularity.

before the basketball guys left, the guys even queued up and hug yonghwee individually.

i thnk the best thing that came out of this OBT trip is really getting to know these people.

i wasnt really close to them, but i really liked their company.

the CJC people are really nice, and the guys are much much nicer than TJ guys.

okay, i know this is really random but im really shocked to see this when im researching for GP info...

Around 30,000 people in the world die every day because they are too poor to stay alive.

i remember there was once when i saw this cartoon published in malaysia/taiwan that discourages suicide. i nearly cried after reading wad was written in the cartoon. he only used simple words but dat was enough to touch readers. the cartoonist is... amazing, really.

wtf? i felt kind of offended and disgusted when i heard dat.

not dat i had always been denying general public's discrimination towards ite or even poly students, but it just suck to hear coming out from my mum.

they may not be th best kind of friends but they are definitely not the worst kind of friend.

will always ask you how's life and try to be funny so as to cheer you up

these kind of things may sound really superficial/minor here, but think back, many frens one have who will do all these things for you?

HELLO.

im once again getting tired of this kind of life.

a few days, as i was walking to school, i suddenly felt so irritated/frustrated of the life im leading now.

weird huh. i have no idea why either.

but of course, there had been fun times as well.

like the cca exhibition yesterday.

it was fun interacting with jc1s and it was amazing dat 2 jc1s could even recognise me on mrt.

LOL.

i mean, there are certainly things to look forward to... eh wait, there isnt any at this moment tho.

once on reader digest, somebody said dat, "the only thing not to do when you find yourself in a hole is to start digging".

okay, something lidat.

at dat point of time, i went around telling people cos it sounded amusing.

like amusing + =.= ya know.

apparently many thought so too.

but now, sometimes i really feel like,not exactly in a hole, but just no turning back.

i mean, im already more than halfway through my "2 years jc course".

so the only thing not to do is to start digging (= get deeper into the hole in dat context= generally, it means making things worse).

sigh. okay. enough of dat. im not too sure wad im saying either.

i dunnoe if it was because of my recent mood, but i began to have abit of interest in ballads.

kpop ballads.

most of the time, i only listen to 快歌，抒情歌 is hardly the thing for me and they never survive long on my playlist.

most of the time, i get bored of listening to it barely after the first chorus or something.

but recently, i really like this ballad.

okay, this CNY had been pretty boring for me, with exception of being able to see my cute little nieces and nephews!

i became xavier, john and zac's "nanny" cos their mums went rall mall.

they were so elated when i opened the box of lego blocks for them to play...

then i got so sad when i had to help them pick up the lego blocks.

the blocks were so small and there were close to hundreds of them -_-

john wanna watch ben 10 but xavier dun wan to.

so he walked away.

xavier: *screaming fr somewhere else. staircase or wadsoever* IM ANGRY.

but later on, xavier returned out of nowhere and joined them.

finally they kept quiet and watched tv.

it was really fun interacting with them!

today i went my uncle's house (my mum's side) and my cousin brought his kids along.

anw, so when he was singing the chorus for the second time, he asked th fans to sing along (you nw, he said something in korean and then pointed the mike at them).

they sang the first line then he continued singing.

later on, he pointed the mike at them again and the fans sang the nex 3 lines.

apparently he was expecting only one line from them as he turned the mike back to himself, but th fans continued singing.

can see dat he was surprised.

it was really cool cos the 3 lines dat they sang was the last 3 lines of the chorus, so probably not many will remember.

but they still sang it.

the fans' screaming were really irritating cos alot of times they screamed when Super Junior was singing.

so sometimes SJ's voices got really soft/blurred.

there were also many times when SJ walked around the X-shaped stage and interact with th fans. so the fans got really crazy and screamed even louder.

the main focus was no longer their singing/the song.

i mean, i could hv gotten close to them if i ran down just like th others, but somehow im contended with just seeing them at a distance.

i really like YESUNG but when he was pretty close to me (i can see him clearly tho i was stil at my seat), i suddenly felt like he seemed so distant away.

okay, i dunnoe how to say.

guess im still a rational fan and are just contended with watching videos and listening to songs of my fav singers.

notice i dun use th word "idol".

many times when th fans were screaming and sort of covered SJ's voices, i could not help but wonder if they are paying to just see SJ or to see them and really to listen to them sing.

DongBangShinKi once mentioned dat when they performed in Japan, th fans were really quiet during their perf.

so they kind of thought dat their perf dun appeal to them, but later on, they realised dat thats just how japanese behaved during perf.

come to thnk of it, th reason to why they remained quiet could be this: they wanna concentrate on listening to the singers up there singing.

imagine if they all were to scream like nobody's business, how on earth could they listen to the songs?

being a singer, im sure their greatest wish is to have someone to listen to them sing yeah?

but wadever, at least i still enjoyed myself.

the concert was really entertaining.

my dad told me he won $450 in today's 4D.

recently, up to the day when i left for Taiwan for Outward Bound, he looked very troubled over the shop's contract problem (okay, a long story).

there were a few times when im so worried dat he would cry or something.

however, when i returned, despite the deadline getting nearer, he dun seemed so stressed over it anymore .

but still, im sure the stress is still there.

the joy on his face just now.. it had been so long since i had seen it.

new year is coming~~

i dunno why, but im seriously excited about it.

i had been bugging my mum to go new year shopping tgt.

you know christmas shopping? yup, this is th new year version.

omg, wad crap am i uttering -_-

anw, so yeah, im excited.

i cant wait.

but new year at home had been pretty boring tho.

cos i lived with my ah ma, so all i have to do is to stay at home and wait for people to come.

my mum thought of sending me to america to study.

as in, you know, quit jc and study in america's university.

it is not some random thought of my mum.

i wanted to study overseas and i had told her bout it.

so upon hearing about how my cousin quitted jc after 3 months and studied in america instead, she was quite tempted by dat idea.

i mean, my cousin is doing pretty well there.

so yup...

it is possible to really quit jc and study there, cos all they look out for is your SAT results.

&erm, i had alr signed up for it.

this is just a possibility tho, mayb im not going there afterall.

LOL.

i dunnoe, im quite looking forward to it, tho im still nervous about it.

i got enough of studying things im not interested in in JC.

but meanwhile i will still work hard least i cant make it there.

okay, actuallly i have no idea wad am i going to share.

it is an experience i cant put into words.

okay, sounds dumb, ps.

in short, it is an experience that made me a stronger person.

i will remember (not really miss for some. LOL.) how we...

cooked dinner in the cold and dark cabin at sub-zero temperatures

-ps group 5! most of the time im only watching. [i dun wanna be an extra when there were alr 4 ppl cooking. but i helped by washing. HAHA.]

washed dishes in sub-zero temperatures using the limited (cos the tap froze -_-) and just-as-cold water we had

- i swear all the cells in my hands died. none survived.

going to toilet in the dark using only the headlights we wore on our heads

-mine nearly dropped into the shithole once -_-

-how i love dat headlight. HAHA.

- there is no toilet bowl, tyvm.

slide down the snow-covered trail

-im sure marcus, isabel, jerome and 黑人 enjoyed it as much as i did. :DD

trying to sleep in the freezing cabin with people around snoring like nobody's business. LOL

- 黑人's snoring is the most epic snore i had ever heard~

hiking the steep slopes

- imagine walking on 70degrees inclination slopes. oh, did i mention it was covered with snow that were at least 5cm thick?

did the high elements

- first was climbing up a thick pole to a height dat was about 3 storeys high and then walked along the wire from one end to another.

i had difficulty wif that. i cant support myself up and i finished dat in a half-stand-half-squat position. T.T

- 最后挑战. our graduation cert was stuck onto a thick pole dat was 6 storeys long. so we had to take our cert, climbed all the way up and try to grab another stick dat was pretty far away.

i failed dat. i only climbed about 1/3 and i can no longer support myself.

shopped @ taipei!!

- we went 淡水 before taking mrt to 士林

we bought loads of crap stuff @ 淡水 according to our instructors.

LOL.

士林 was cool, seriously.

they sell all kinds of food at incredibly cheap prices.

the taiwanese are really friendly and taiwan has wonderful customer services.

i love taiwan!!~~

im so going to go back there.

count down at the small hut behind our base camp.

it was amazing. LOL.

22 of us plus instructors just squeezed behind a tv literally (some stood, some squat and lucky ones sat) and waited as the MC talked crap to stall time.

AND WE COUNT DOWN TOGETHER WITH THE TVVVVVVV

after dat was 张惠妹 singing.

so we sang along.

we dun actually know th lyrics, we just sing the lyrics dat was printed at the bottom of the screen.

so we ended up singing only the last few words of each line.

the CJ people are really funny as they sang along with th lyrics.

think jeremy.

watched 娱乐百分百（重播）on 八大电视台 @ Aspire Resort with amanda and nicole

- have great fun laughing at those bimbo female artiste getting scared by xiaozhu. LOL.

- we lived there on our last night in taiwan.

- their aspire = 渴望 cute bah~~!

ran 3.5km daily upon returning to the base camp

- everyone started running with 3 pieces of clothing but returned with only 1,2 pieces. LOL.

- some guys ran with t-shirt and shorts.

**clap clap clap** HAHA

- our very last run was in the rain. almost everyone wore the raincoat they provided, so it looked like some UG run. the scene looked cute~

survived the blindfolded walk down the mountain for 10 minutes.

-at one time, one member will lead one blindfolded member down the mountain. my guide was keith chan.

- thanks jiale for bullying me when we were stuck halfway (group 4 didnt move so we cant.) by poking me with trekking pole and keith chan for blowing air at my face (saliva comes free. omggggg.). LOL okay, but overall the experience was fun tho i kept slipping.

carried one member up @ East Peak so dat at dat moment, all he/she saw was the sky.

- i didnt want to try it initially, but i still tried. it was kind of scary, idk why the others still looked rather calm up there...

watched shooting stars @三六九!!

- omg, dat was an amazing experience.

- most of us just sat in the cold, staring at the stars-filled sky, waiting for shooting stars.

- i only managed to see 2 while pro ones like... i forgot who (LOL) saw up to 9. T.T

watched a movie and drink 珍珠奶茶 @ base camp on new year's eve.

- it was a treat by our instructors.

- we are th first batch where movie was screened during an OB course i thnk.

- the movie was about a choir consisting of senior citizens.

- we watched another movie another night, bout how a deaf taiwanese hiked or something, but i was too tired to watch. after awhile, i tried to lie down watching, but i fell asleep.

did service learning.

- our 对象 are the mentally disabled patients.

- i was the so-called representative, like introducing ourselves and starting the games. all in chinese. but i screwed it up, it was too sudden and i didnt know wad to say. i even had to repeat cos marcus said i spoke too fast. SORRY PEOPLE! then i gave instructions to games etc...

(above happenings are not in sequence, im just adding on to the list whenever i remember something...)

there are alot of things i wanna tell,

alot of photos i wanna share (im waiting for th compilation of photos cos i didnt take much photos...),

and most importantly, there are alot of people i want to thank.

i had written to most of them, thanking them for th help they had given me.

&i feel quite bad cos there are some people who i didnt write to but wrote to me (thanks abel, benjamin, jerome and corn!) but there are also people whom i wrote to but didnt write to me (HAHA, but dats okay.)

these little notes really meant alot to me and they are a reminder of the times the 22 of us had spent together.

i watched "71 - into the fire" with huimin yesterday.

basically, the movie was about how 71 students soldiers fought against the north korean soldiers at Pohang middle girls' school,though they were eventually defeated as they were outnumbered.

it was based on the true story and it was said dat these 71 soldiers had contributed greatly to South Korea's fight against the north.

while the main force concentrated on fighting at Naktong River, these 71 students soldiers were left to fight the NKoreans at the school,which initially served as a hospital for injured soldiers.

the war scenes are really real,with exception of one which is clearly computerized.

erm, if you cry easily, probably can thnk twice bout watching.

it really shows the cruelty of war/how weak and insignificant life is in front of war.

from th start, i alr want to cry at some war scenes then at the end, it got worse.

i mean, th scenes looked really real and not forgetting those typical emo melodies always played in dramas.

when th show ended, i ended up tearing uncontrollably.

they also got 2 of the surviving soldiers to speak at the end of the movie.

my respect goes to all of the 71 soldiers.

i didnt know dat i actually feel quite strongly towards people who call PRC cheena.

i was talking to jeremiah just now when he was talking bout th "cheena" people.

omg,instantly, i told him to stop calling them cheena.

being the usually-jiu-abit-sarcastic jeremiah, he began asking why not and all sorts of crap.

&usually, i wil just give up after awhile, i mean, he is dat crap and no point arguing.

but this time, i talked bout how "有life" they are, contrary to popular belief dat they can only mug and how nice they are blah blah blah.

actually sometimes i felt dat it was me who is blending in with the Chinese (or rather the China) culture, instead of th scholars blending into our singapore's culture.

i reached home before 430 today.

anw, it was national day celebration today.
